My Holiday

Hi! I hope you are having an amazing day! It is the second week of school, and I'm already sleep deprived, stressed, and feeling like crap . Anyways, in this blog post I'm going to tell you about my holiday.

Going into the holiday, I felt really really great! I just went on a date with my crush, I went camping two times in a week, and I thought everything was going well. When the holiday started, I didn't have anything planned. I was just thinking to fix my sleep schedule, eat better, exercise more, and to chat with my crush more. That's exactly what I did for the first week or so. I mean, I was neither eating much better nor exercising regularly, but I was getting lots of sleep so.....it was fine I guess? In the second week of the holiday, my mom suddenly offered to go to Jakarta to visit a kpop merch store. The plan was for me and my sister to go to Jakarta by train, then immediately get a taxi to the kpop merch store, and then go back to the train station to catch a train back to Bandung. It was supposed to be a really quick trip. But, since I've been wanting to go to Dufan for so long, I asked my mom if we could stay overnight in Jakarta, and then go to Dufan the next day. Like always, my mom said yes :D.

So, the day comes, my sister, my uncle, my cousin, and myself went to Jakarta. In the first day, we went to Jakarta Aquarium. There, of course, I saw lots of fish, like sharks, manta rays, and small fishes, like a clownfish. Other than fishes, there were other animals like lizards, snakes, otters, and the most interesting animal for me, a giant turtle. In the aquarium, there was this part, we could stand on top of a layer of glass where we were able to see the fishes beneath us. There was also a giant aquarium, where we were able to see lots of fishes swim. I could not tell you how amazing it was. After that, we went to the kpop merch store. There, we could buy a lot of kpop stuff, there was even a cafe, where you could buy drinks and cakes. There was a giant screen that played kpop music videos, and there was a glass floor, where you could see stuff signed by the artist. Even so, I was a bit disappointed because there weren't as many kpop merch as I thought there would be.

The next day, me and my sister went to Dufan, while my uncle and my cousin went around Ancol to do other activities. In Dufan, like you would expect, we went on a lot of rides. We firstly went on calm rides, because we had just eaten. After the Friday prayer, we started going to the extreme or I should say the fun rides. We went on the ice age ride first. To me, there wasn't much to it. It was just....wet. After that, we went on Halilintar. It's a rollercoaster that looks really fun. The ride goes something like this. First there was a smooth climb, chill, nothing much. And then comes the big drop where your stomach would feel the tingling sensation. After the big drop, there was a loop that breaks your back. And then for the rest of the ride you're just confused on what's happening. The rest of that day was spent on riding other rides.

After Dufan, we went to J-Sky Ferris Wheel. It's the biggest ferris wheel in Indonesia. The ride was good. The view was, pretty good I guess. I mean it was good, but you would expect more from the "biggest ferris wheel in Indonesia". It's probably because it's not located in the city center, so the view is not the best it could've been. After riding the ferris wheel, we went to get dinner, and after that we went back to Bandung.
